Wearable electronics startup Weartrons has booked Spark to deliver a one-on-one speech coaching program to its co-founders, Praveen Elak and Aditya Bansal.
The half-day presentation coaching program will be delivered by Andy Saks, Spark’s owner and lead trainer. It’s designed to prepare Elak and Bansal for upcoming speeches and presentations in a variety of settings, including press interviews, industry seminars, and participation in panel discussions and special events.
Weartrons makes the Run-n-Read, a device that allows the user to comfortably read on a tablet while on a treadmill, train or other moving platform. Its patent-pending technology tracks a user’s head movements and in real time moves the text to keep it in sync with the user’s eyes.
The Run-n-Read device contains motion sensors, a micro-controller and a rechargeable battery, and connects with the user’s tablet or smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0.
Spark was referred for speech coaching with Weartrons by its long-time client, Dragon Innovation.
Saks will tailor the presentation coaching session to Elak’s and Bansal’s goals and challenges, evaluating their presentation content and delivery skills, suggesting changes, fleshing them out and facilitating practice and feedback. Saks will also record their practice presentations on video via iPad to encourage self-evaluation.
