Boston, MA — Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children has booked Spark owner Andy Saks as its live auctioneer for its annual fundraiser.
Called “Turning Points: An Evening to Benefit MSPCC,” the fundraiser will take place in April, 2018, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
MSPCC booked Andy Saks as its live auctioneer for its upcoming fundraiser.
In his live auctioneer role, Saks will:
— write a word-for-word script for each auction item and for a “paddle raise” (fund-the-need) segment
— advise MSPCC on auction item order and pricing
— create a matching, animated slide deck for each auction item
— make announcements and introduce guest speakers
Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a private, non-profit society dedicated to leadership in protecting and promoting the rights and well-being of children and families. MSPCC supports pregnancy and parenting support, clinical mental health counseling and care coordination, adoptive and foster parent support, and adoption services. As a division of Eliot Community Human Services, its services are part of a continuum of care committed to the unique needs of a child and his or her family.
Saks has served as live auctioneer for other organizations in New England, including the YMCA of New Canaan, CT, Newbury College, the Boston Jewish Film Festival, Community Rowing, Inc., and Boston Workmen’s Circle.
The event will be produced by Simple Details Events, based in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.
