Boston, MA — Boston Workmen’s Circle, a center for Jewish culture and social justice based in Brookline, Massachusetts, has booked Spark owner Andy Saks as its live auctioneer for its biannual fundraiser.
Titled “Journey Together,” the fundraiser will take place on March 4, 2017, at The Boston Foundation in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
In his live auctioneer role, Saks will:
— consult on auction item selection, order, and pricing
— write an auctioneer script
— create a matching auction slide deck
— emcee other segments of the event
Boston Workmen’s Circle serves its community as a spiritual home for secular Jewish life, a voice for progressive Jewish values and social change, and an arts and education center celebrating Yiddish, Jewish, and progressive culture.
Saks has served as live auctioneer for other Boston-area non-profit events, including Newbury College, the Boston Jewish Film Festival, and Community Rowing, Inc.
